On July 15, 2024, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited announced in a stock exchange filing about the opening of Lemon Tree Hotel, Centre Point, in Jamshedpur. The company stated that this marks the group’s first property in Jharkhand.
This newly managed hotel features 42 well-appointed rooms designed for comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy various amenities, including Slounge – a trendy recreation bar and Republic of Noodles, the award-winning Pan-Asian restaurant. The hotel also boasts a banquet facility, a fully equipped fitness centre, and inviting public areas.
Jamshedpur, founded by Jamshetji Tata, is the largest city in Jharkhand and is home to major Tata group companies like Tata Steel and Tata Motors. The city’s Central Jamshedpur area hosts a vibrant financial and business district, making it an attractive destination for travellers.

The Rajkot International Airport is about 65 km from the property, while the Morbi Railway Station is about 12 km away. The hotel is also well connected by roadways for both public and private transport. The property is expected to open in FY 2029.
