Bank Holiday for Nongkrem Dance in Meghalaya
In Meghalaya, banks will remain closed on November 6 to mark the Nongkrem Dance festival. This five-day traditional celebration is observed by the Khasi tribe to express gratitude to Goddess Ka Blei Synshar for a good harvest and community prosperity.
