In accordance with the Rules, Bye-Laws, and Business Rules of the Exchange, as well as the SEBI Circular regarding trading hours for the commodities derivatives segment, the Exchange has issued a directive notifying the market of revised trading hours.

The trading hours will be adjusted starting on March 11, 2024, and concluding on November 01, 2024, inclusive of both dates. This modification is necessitated by the shift in US daylight saving time. Exchange members are advised to take note of this development.

The purpose of this alteration is to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Market participants are advised to update their calendars to align with the revised trading hours during this period.

The Exchange emphasizes the importance of informing users about these changes to facilitate seamless trading experiences and minimize any disruptions. Traders and stakeholders are encouraged to refer to official announcements and guidelines for further information regarding this adjustment.

The revised trading hours and Client Code Modification sessions are as follows:

Additionally, on February 13, 2024, the exchange experienced a technical glitch during the trading session. Consequently, the exchange issued a circular on that day, revising the commodity derivative trading time to commence at 1:00 PM. Brokerage firms were also notified about the revised timetable following the exchange’s failure.
