The benchmark index S&P BSE 500 opened today at 25,283.98 and made its day high at 25,447.95 and it closed in green, up by more than 0.70%.                        

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 7% today.     

Shares of Vodafone Idea Limited ended today with an up move by more than 8.40% on BSE. The scrip closed on Tuesday at Rs 7.08 and opened on Wednesday at Rs 7.05 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 7.73 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 10.08, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 5.70. Presently, the promoters are holding 50.36%, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 36% and 13.64%, respectively.                                                                                          Another top player today is Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 8.10% on BSE during the day. The stock opened today at Rs 63.95 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 70.64. The 52-week high of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited stood at Rs 149, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 49.80. The promoters are holding around 74.36% stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 2.20% and 23.43%, respectively.            

One more top gainer today which shot up by 7.50% is Max Healthcare Institute Limited. The stock opened at Rs 524.30 and touched its 52-week high at Rs 565 after the surge. On Tuesday, the shares closed at Rs 523.25 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 565, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 306. Currently, the promoters are holding about 23.77% stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 71.32% and 4.92%, respectively.
