Share Market Pre Open Updates – May 10, 2024

On May 09, 2024, the Nifty 50 declined 1.55% and closed at 21,957, and the Sensex dropped 1.45%, closing at 72,404. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Auto ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Oil & Gas, Nifty Metal, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Pharma were declining. The top gainers were Adani Power, TVS Motor, Hero Motocorp and Tata Motors, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, Larsen & Toubro, Power Finance Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Asian Paints were the top losers of the day.

• In Q4 FY 2024, Escorts Kubota reported a consolidated year-on-year revenue of ₹2,093 crore, a ~6% decrease. After this news, the company’s share price dropped by 2%, closing at ₹3,470.
• In Q4 FY 2024, State Bank of India reported a net profit of ₹20,698 crore. After this news, the company’s share price rose by 1%, closing at ₹820.
