On March 27, 2024, sectors like Nifty Realty, Nifty Consumer Durables, Nifty Private Bank and Nifty Oil & Gas saw growth, while Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty IT, Nifty Media and Nifty FMCG declined. The top gainers were ABB India, Info Edge, Reliance, and Siemens, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, Bajaj Holdings & Investment, Colgate, Adani Total Gas and Adani Energy Solutions faced losses, marking them as the top losers of the day.

• Coal India’s shares are seen falling after the Baltimore bridge crash. The second largest exit point for coal shipments has been blocked due to the crash of the Baltimore Bridge. After this news, Coal India’s share price fell by 1%, closing at ₹431.

• AstraZeneca Pharma has got permission to import, sell and distribute certain types of powder concentrate. This news increased the AstraZeneca Pharma share price by ~4%, closing at ₹5,281.
