Share Market Pre Open Updates – May 28, 2024

On May 27, 2024, the Nifty 50 declined 0.11% and closed at 22,932, and the Sensex dropped 0.03%, closing at 75,390. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Realty, Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial Services 25/50 ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Media, Nifty Metal, Nifty Oil & Gas, and Nifty FMCG were declining. The top gainers were Power Finance Corporation, REC Limited, Divi’s Laboratories, and Punjab National Bank, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, DMART, Adani Enterprises, United Spirits, and Wipro were the top losers of the day.

Electronics Mart India and HCL Technologies were in the news on May 27, 2024.

• Electronics Mart India released its Q4 earnings, whereby its revenue rose 15% YoY to ₹1,524 crore. Despite this, the share price dropped 3% to ₹212.
• HCL Technologies has collaborated with various partners on custom silicon chips, and as a result, its share price rose 0.51% to ₹1,352.
