Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 10 August, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading red with Sensex down around 332 points or 0.50% at 65,665 and the Nifty-50 down around 90 points or 0.51% at 19,543. About 1,837 shares have advanced, 1,399 declined, and 164 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were IndusInd Bank, NTPC Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Motors Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd.

The BSE Utilities Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Bankex Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Utilities Index soared 0.55%, led by JSW Energy Ltd and Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited while the BSE Bankex Index was down 0.80% dragged down by Canara Bank and ICICI Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.10% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.36%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Trent Ltd and JSW Energy Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Forge Motors Ltd and Varroc Engineering Ltd.
