Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 17 August, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading red with Sensex down around 243 points or 0.38% at 65,298 and the Nifty-50 down around 73 points or 0.37% at 19,392. About 1,985 shares have advanced, 1,269 declined, and 144 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Titan India Ltd, Axis Bank and IndusInd Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Nestle India Ltd, ITC Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.

The BSE Consumer Durables Index was the only gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Teck Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index soared 1.48%, led by Rajesh Exports Ltd and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd while the BSE Teck Index was down 0.70% dragged down by Tanla Platforms Ltd and LTI Mindtree Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.48% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.58%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Gland Pharma Ltd and Shriram Finance Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Chaman Lal Setia Exports Ltd and Roto Pumps Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Ram Krishna Forgings Ltd, Cochin Shipyard Ltd and JM Financial Ltd.
