Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 22 September, 2023
On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 171 points or 0.26% at 66,034 and the Nifty-50 down around 68 points or 0.34% at 19,675. About 1,312 shares have advanced, 1,480 declined, and 135 are unchanged on the BSE.
Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, State Bank of India and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Wipro Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd.
The BSE Bankex Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Healthcare Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Bankex Index soared 0.04%, led by Canara Bank and Bank of Baroda while the BSE Healthcare Index was down 1.75% dragged down by Aurobindo Pharma Ltd and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.53% and the BSE Small-cap index down 0.56%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Union Bank of India and 3M India Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were PNB Gilts Ltd and Lancer Container Lines Ltd.
In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: ITI Ltd, Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd and Gokaldas Exports Ltd.
