Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 25 August, 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 445 points or 0.69% at 64,808 and the Nifty-50 down around 129 points or 0.66% at 19,258. About 1,219 shares have advanced, 2,114 declined, and 145 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj FinServ Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, IndusInd Bank and Jio Financial Services Ltd.

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE IT Index soared 0.50%, led by HFCL Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd while the BSE Realty Index was down 1.50% dragged down by Macrotech Developers Ltd and DLF Ltd.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.78% and the BSE Small-cap index down 0.64%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Vodafone Idea Ltd and Sun TV Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were KFin Technologies Ltd and Kayes Technologies India Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: KPI Green Energy Ltd, Texmaco Rail Engineering Ltd and Astra Microwave Products Ltd.
