On May 13, 2024, SpiceJet announced in an exchange filing that it had entered Phuket, Thailand’s beautiful island paradise. Starting May 31, 2024, SpiceJet will start daily non-stop flights connecting Delhi and Phuket.
The company stated that this new service would complement the airline’s existing operations to Bangkok from Kolkata and Delhi. SpiceJet’s daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Phuket are conveniently timed to offer a hassle-free travel experience to travellers. The departing flight from Delhi will take off at 9:00 AM, arriving in Phuket at 3:15 PM. The return flight departs Phuket at 4:15 PM, arriving in Delhi at 7:20 PM.
Bookings for this thrilling new route are now open on SpiceJet’s website and via all travel agents. SpiceJet is dedicated to providing its signature value-for-money fares, making a traveller’s dream vacation to Phuket more affordable than ever.

Earlier in April 2024, the company announced that it is set to receive a Q400 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) as part of a settlement agreement, acquiring full ownership of six Q400s and saving on monthly rentals. The sixth aircraft is en route from Germany to India, aligning with the summer schedule to enhance passenger services.
