Larsen & Toubro Share Price in Focus After Winning Large Orders in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Limited has secured two large construction orders in New Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.

L&T announced the two orders on October 21, 2026. The projects will be handled by its Public Spaces, Airports & Health business, with work covering government buildings in Delhi and Amaravati.

New Central Secretariat Buildings in Delhi

The first order, awarded by the Central Public Works Department, covers the construction of Common Central Secretariat Buildings 4 and 5 along Kartavya Path in New Delhi.

The two buildings will have a combined built-up area of 32.8 lakh square feet, with each designed to include a basement, ground floor and seven upper floors. L&T will handle structural and architectural work, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems, and external development. Construction is scheduled to take 24 months, followed by five years of operation and maintenance.

Two Office Towers Planned in Amaravati

The second order comes from the Andhra Pradesh government and involves two office towers on either side of the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre. Each tower will have a basement, ground floor and 47 upper floors, with a combined built-up area of 37.5 lakh square feet.

L&T will carry out the shell and core work under a design-and-build contract. The project is expected to be completed in 30 months.

As of October 21, 2026, at 12:18 PM, Larsen & Toubro share price was trading at ₹3,646.10 per share, reflecting a 0.43% decline from the previous trading session.

Conclusion

The two orders give L&T fresh construction work in Delhi and Amaravati, including major government office buildings and high-rise towers. The company expects to complete the Delhi project in 24 months and the Amaravati project in 30 months.
