Mastek Share Price in Focus After Winning Staffordshire County Council Oracle Cloud Project

Mastek has been chosen by Staffordshire County Council in England for a project to move its finance, procurement, HR and payroll systems to Oracle Cloud. The announcement was made on October 8, 2026.  

Mastek will use its ADOPT AI platform for the project. The new system will bring the council's existing systems together on one platform.

The work will cover the council's finance, procurement, human resources and payroll operations. 

Staffordshire County Council serves more than 875,000 people across areas including education, social care, highways and community services.  

The council wants to simplify its back-office work, reduce manual tasks and make it easier to manage its operations.

Mastek To Use AI Platform 

Mastek will use its ADOPT AI platform along with Oracle Cloud for the project. The company was selected after a competitive procurement process, with its Oracle Cloud experience and work with UK local governments among the factors considered.  

The project will also add to Mastek's work with Oracle Cloud in the UK public sector, particularly in finance, procurement and human capital management.
