Zen Technologies Share Price in Focus to Acquire Majority Stake in Cogknit Semantics

Zen Technologies has approved ₹135.15 crore to acquire a majority stake in Cogknit Semantics, a Bengaluru-based company developing battlefield management systems for the Indian Army. 

As per the exchange filing, the investment will give Zen Technologies a 51.98% stake in Cogknit on a fully diluted basis. It includes buying existing shares and subscribing to a fresh issue of shares. 

Cogknit's Battlefield System Completes Army Trials 

Cogknit developed a Battlefield Management System (BMS) for Main Battle Tanks after winning an iDEX challenge. The system connects tanks, vehicles, and soldiers digitally, allowing commanders to access a shared, real-time view of the battlefield. 

The system has completed field trials with the Indian Army. Cogknit also received the Raksha Mantri's Award for Innovation in 2022.

Cogknit to Become Zen Subsidiary 

Once the transaction is completed, Cogknit will become a subsidiary of Zen Technologies. Its founding team will continue to lead the business, while Zen takes management and operational control. 

Investor Ashish Kacholia and his associates will also invest in Cogknit's primary funding round. 

Acquisition to Complement Samvid AI Platform 

Zen Technologies said Cogknit's command-and-control technology is intended to complement Samvid, its proposed AI platform for shared battlefield awareness.  

The system will also add to its existing portfolio of training simulators, counter-drone systems, drones and autonomous platforms.

Zen Technologies Share Price Performance  

As of 19 October 2026, at 10:53 AM, Zen Technologies Ltd share price is trading at ₹1,629.80 per share, reflecting a decline of 1.56% from the previous trading session. 

Conclusion 

The acquisition gives Zen Technologies a majority stake in a company whose battlefield management system has completed Army trials. The deal is intended to expand Zen's defence technology capabilities and strengthen its work on integrated battlefield systems.
