Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 30 July, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 34 points or 0.04% at 81,390, while the Nifty-50 was up around 10 points or 0.01% at 24,836. About 2,078 shares have advanced; 1,178 declined and 99 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Power Grid Corporation of India, NTPC Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Ultratech Cement Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.57% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.24%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd and Gujarat Gas Ltd. In contrast, MMTC Ltd and Ester Industries Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Power Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index gained by 2%, up by Suzlon Energy Ltd and JSW Energy Ltd while the BSE Information Technology Index plunged by 0.30%, down by Quick Heal Technologies Ltd and LTI Mindtree Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: PCBL Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and MMTC Ltd.
