In 2024, the Indian mutual fund industry continued its upward trajectory, driven by the consistent growth of Indian equities that attracted retail investors. This made mutual funds the preferred choice for wealth creation and long-term financial planning. By November 2024, the industry’s Assets Under Management (AUM) crossed the ₹68 lakh crore mark for the first time, reaching ₹68.08 lakh crore—an increase of 34% compared to ₹50.78 lakh crore in December 2023.
In the hybrid fund category, a 40% decline in inflows into arbitrage funds led to a decrease in overall hybrid fund flows, which totalled ₹4,163 crore in November 2024, down from ₹16,863 crore in October 2024.
Amid the rise of the Indian Mutual Fund industry, we’re excited to share the most bought Hybrid SIPs on Angel One in 2024.
