Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL), India’s third-largest spirits company, has partnered with Roust Corporation, a top global vodka producer, to launch Russian Standard Vodka in India. 

This new distribution deal highlights ABDL’s focus on offering premium and luxury products to Indian customers. With this partnership, ABDL aims to expand its product range and meet the rising demand for distinctive, high-quality experiences. Russian Standard Vodka, the leading premium vodka in Russia with a 30% market share in the premium segment, is also the top Russian vodka worldwide, available in over 85 countries. 

Produced at a modern distillery in St. Petersburg, it uses pure glacial water from Lake Ladoga and winter wheat from Russia’s Steppes to create its unique flavour. The collaboration will combine ABDL’s vast distribution network and marketing expertise with Roust’s well-known premium vodka lineup, including Russian Standard Original, Gold, and Platinum.

The vodka market in India has over 13 million cases and is growing by more than 20% each year. With this partnership, ABDL is set to make a strong entry into the premium and luxury vodka segment, which is expected to see significant growth in the coming years. This move aligns with ABDL’s goal of building a solid presence across India by tapping into the growing demand for premium vodka and expanding its market reach. In Maharashtra, Russian Standard Original is expected to be priced at ₹2,200, Russian Standard Gold at ₹2,600, and Russian Standard Platinum at ₹5,000.
