Baroda BNP Paribas Retirement Fund is a new open-ended retirement solution offered by Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund. Launched on May 8th, 2024, the scheme invests in a diversified mix of equity (65-80%), equity-linked instruments, and fixed income (20-35%) to generate income and capital appreciation for investors aiming for a secure retirement. The fund has a lock-in period of 5 years or until retirement, whichever comes first. There is a minimum subscription amount of Rs 5000, and while the investment objective is to provide a retirement solution, there is no guarantee of returns. The offer closes on May 22nd, 2024.

Investment Objective

The primary investment objective of the Baroda BNP Paribas Retirement Fund is to generate income and capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments and fixed-income instruments with a view to provide a retirement solution to investors. However, there can be no assurance that the investment objectives of the Scheme will be realized. The Scheme does not guarantee/indicate any returns.

Fund Managers

Mr. Pratish Krishnan is a Fund Manager and Senior Analyst at Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management India Private Limited. With a B.Com and MMS in Finance, Mr. Krishnan, 49, brings over 23 years of experience in equity markets, including roles at Antique Finance and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. His expertise spans equity research and fund management.

Mr. Mayank Prakash, 43, is the Deputy Head of Fixed Income at BNP Paribas AMC. He holds an ACA and an MBA from Kanpur University and has roughly 18 years of experience in asset management, previously working at Kotak Mahindra AMC in various capacities including fund manager and part of the dealing team.

Mr. Miten Vora, at 36 years old, is a Senior Analyst and Fund Manager of Equity, holding a PGDM in Finance from ICFAI Hyderabad and a B.Com. His 14-plus years of experience include positions at Canara HSBC Oriental Life Insurance and BNP Paribas Asset Management, focusing on equity research and fund management.
