A renewable energy company called Gensol Engineering Ltd., which specializes in solar power engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, stated that as of September 30, 2024, it had secured Rs. 4,097 crore worth of solar EPC orders. 

Including 1.5 GW of solar projects, both private clients and public sector projects (PSUs) will finish them in 12 to 18 months. Gensol also asserted that its strong bid pipeline outpaces the current orderbook by a wide margin. Gensol has built-own-operate orders for battery energy storage systems (BESS) in addition to the solar order book.

Gensol Engineering Ltd. revenue

As of September 30, 2024, Gensol’s overall revenue visibility was Rs. 9,055 crore. Of this, Rs. 4,097 crore came from the unexecuted solar EPC order book, Rs. 3,138 crore from battery energy storage systems (through 12-year offtake agreements), and Rs. 1,820 crore came from solar power generation (over a 25-year power purchase agreement period). 

The company has received multiple battery energy storage systems over the last 12 years, increasing its order book to Rs 3,138 crore. In contrast, its order book for solar power generation has reached Rs 1,820 crore.

Gensol Engineering Ltd.’s stock is up 5% today and is currently trading at Rs. 841.90 per share. Due to an order book that exceeds Rs. 4000 crore, the high traded price is Rs. 859.00.
