Route Mobile and Billeasy Transform Hyderabad Metro with Google Wallet Integration

Route Mobile has partnered with Billeasy E Solutions Private Limited, a Mumbai-based integration partner, to introduce a streamlined ticketing experience for L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad commuters. 

This innovative solution leverages Rich Communication Services (RCS) and Google Wallet, making it easy for commuters to book, store, and access e-tickets, enhancing convenience and efficiency for daily metro travel.

Using RCS messaging, this service offers an interactive, conversational ticketing experience directly through Google Messages. RCS adds advanced features like information cards, carousels, and suggested replies, which simplify ticket booking by replacing traditional SMS methods. Commuters can now book tickets from their default Android messaging app, eliminating the need to stand in ticket queues or download additional applications.

To access this service, users simply scan a QR code and send a ‘Hi’ via RCS messaging on Google Messages to the official handle of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad. They can then choose their source, destination, and ticket type, followed by secure payment options like UPI. Once the transaction is complete, the e-ticket is stored in Google Wallet, which is easily accessible from the user’s phone for a seamless journey.

Currently, this service is available exclusively for Android users, though it will be ready to support iOS in the future when Apple enables RCS support in India. This initiative marks a significant step forward in digitalizing the ticketing process, providing Hyderabad Metro commuters with a more convenient and efficient travel experience.
