Voltas Share Price Down by 3%; Reports 15% Total Income Growth in Q2 FY 2025 Financial Results

On Tuesday, the company released its consolidated financial results for the quarter and the six months ending September 30, 2024.

Q2 FY 2025 Financial Highlights

In the quarter ending September 30, 2024, Voltas continued to show strength, with consolidated total income growing by 15% to ₹2,725 crores, compared to ₹2,364 crores in the same quarter of the previous year. Profit before tax surged by 142%, hitting ₹205 crores, compared to ₹85 crores in the same quarter last year. Net profit also saw a substantial increase, climbing to ₹133 crores from ₹36 crores in the corresponding quarter last year.

H1 FY 2025 Financial Highlights

For the first half of FY25, Voltas reported a remarkable 33% increase in consolidated total income, reaching ₹7,726 crores, compared to ₹5,794 crores in the same period last year.

Profit before tax for the six-month period soared by 128%, amounting to ₹657 crores, up from ₹288 crores in the prior year. Correspondingly, net profit after tax also experienced a substantial rise, reaching ₹468 crores, compared to ₹165 crores in the corresponding period last year. This achievement marks the highest half-yearly profits in Voltas’ history.
