Wipro Limited has announced innovative initiatives that harness the full NVIDIA AI stack, aiming to empower clients across various sectors, including healthcare, communications, and financial services. This strategic move is designed to facilitate the rapid development and implementation of new business strategies tailored for the AI era, leveraging NVIDIA AI Enterprise.
As part of this collaboration, Wipro is set to expand its offerings into new areas such as digital manufacturing and digital twins through NVIDIA Omniverse. This expansion promises to deliver exceptional value to Wipro’s global enterprise customers, positioning the company as a key player in the AI-driven market landscape.
Wipro’s approach includes providing clients with ready-to-use templates to create agentic AI advocates across multiple applications, such as intelligent document processing, drug discovery, customer service, and claims processing. These templates, built using NVIDIA NIM Agent Blueprints, are anticipated to significantly expedite the delivery of business value to clients, streamlining their operations and enhancing overall productivity.
Nagendra Bandaru, President and Managing Partner – Enterprise Futuring at Wipro, said, “Enterprises are increasingly seeking measurable business benefits in order to accelerate AI adoption within their businesses and drive innovation across various industries. Wipro’s WeGA Studio, built on NVIDIA AI Enterprise, leverages the NVIDIA NIM Agent Blueprint to accelerate the deployment of relevant AI virtual assistants to enhance user experiences and streamline operations.”
The Wipro Enterprise Generative AI (WeGA) Studio integrates NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, including NVIDIA NIM Agent Blueprints, NVIDIA NeMo, and NVIDIA NIM. This integration aims to create tailored solutions across Wipro’s extensive portfolio of services, significantly increasing processing speed and delivering immense value to customers in diverse industries.
One notable application of this technology is in customer service, where Wipro can swiftly develop custom AI virtual assistants for call centre operations. These assistants can be deployed either in the cloud or on-premises, utilising NVIDIA NIM and NVIDIA NeMo Retriever microservices for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). This enables them to recommend effective solutions, helping staff serve customers as informed brand ambassadors.
Furthermore, Wipro’s integration of NVIDIA technologies into the WeGA Studio adheres to responsible AI principles. This framework emphasises accuracy, trust, transparency, performance, privacy, safety, and security, addressing the challenges posed by generative AI while fostering seamless innovation. Importantly, these solutions can be deployed anywhere, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
In healthcare, Wipro is utilising NVIDIA AI to enhance member experiences, increase enrollment, and improve productivity in claims adjudication under programs like the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicare, and Medicaid. Beyond healthcare, Wipro’s NVIDIA-powered solutions promise faster, more efficient, and cost-effective services across critical sectors such as supply chain management, contact centers, marketing, finance, and HR.
On October 25, 2024, Wipro share price opened at ₹549.75, touching the day’s high at ₹552.00, as of 9:44 AM on the NSE.
