Kapil Malhotra

Kapil Malhotra is an Assistant Fund Manager and Research Analyst at Tata Asset Management. He joined the company in January 2023 as a Research Analyst and currently covers sectors including Financials, Real Estate, and Defence. He has over 5 years of experience in equity research across multiple industries. Before entering asset management, Malhotra spent more than 8 years in the paint industry, where he worked across strategy, finance, sales and marketing functions for a company engaged in the manufacturing and import of painting tools. His prior professional experience also includes roles at Trust Financial Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. and Emerge Capital LLP. Malhotra holds an MBA (PGPEM) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and has cleared CFA Level II. He completed his undergraduate studies with a B.Sc. in Business and Management from Brunel University, London.
