Sonal Gupta

Sonal Gupta is the Head of Research – Equities and Dedicated Fund Manager for Overseas Securities at HSBC Asset Management (India). She has over 16 years of experience in equity research and investment management. Before joining HSBC in November 2022, she served as Head of Research at L&T Investment Management and worked as a Lead Research Analyst at UBS Securities India for nearly 15 years. Earlier in her career, she also worked with Fidelity Investments and PwC. Sonal holds a PGDM from IIM Bangalore, is a CFA charterholder, and has a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. She manages several overseas-focused HSBC mutual fund schemes, including the HSBC Global Emerging Markets Fund and HSBC Brazil Fund.
