About The Role

Angel One is searching for a seasoned Director of Compliance – Technology to join our growing team. As a leading fintech company in India, we are committed to providing a superior customer experience while adhering to the highest regulatory standards. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our technology infrastructure and practices comply with all applicable regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive technology compliance program for Angel One.
  • Partner with engineering and product development teams to identify and mitigate technology-related compliance risks.
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulations and industry standards impacting financial technology.
  • Proactively identify and address potential compliance gaps within our technology systems and processes.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews of technology infrastructure and practices.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of controls to safeguard customer data and ensure information security.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors on compliance matters related to technology.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed compliance documentation.
  • Train and educate employees on technology compliance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 14+ years of experience in Fintech compliance.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing technology compliance programs.
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the fintech industry.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting.
  • Certifications in relevant compliance areas (CISA, CISM, etc.).
